The Newsletter Team
Priya Darshini Shivakumar resides in Chennai,
India. She has been volunteering for the temple from August 2004. She says that
“During my short stint in the US, there
have been times when I have searched the internet in vain for different Slokas,
Sthalapuranas and special Pujas and recipes for festive occasions. Vageesh
Express has packaged all these together and presents a complete picture each
month. It is like an elderly, experienced sage visiting your house every
month, to tell you all you need to know about Hindu religion and culture, and
its impact the world over. To be contributing to such a noble newsletter and
sharing my limited knowledge is a blesing to me, and I can fathom
how an Indian reading it in a foreign land would feel towards the contents of
our newsletter in general and towards Indian cultureas a whole. I
request more and more knowledgable people to come forward to support this
noble endeavor”
Priyagayatri Krishnaswamy resides in chandler, Arizona. She

come true. I'm very glad to be a part of the team. I do enjoy writing all and
I'm planning to write more especially for kids and that will be my other
enjoyment too”

think and reflect about the different aspects of Hinduism.”
