Abhishekam involves the pouring of various liquids like milk, ghee and honey in a steady stream over a murti (idol), while specific Sanskrit mantras are recited. As the offerings are gently poured over the murti, divine blessings radiate out towards all those present, providing protection, purification, and spiritual elevation.

Abhishekam is performed at the temple to the main deity every Sunday starting at 10:30 AM. Multiple families may sponsor Abhishekam on a day.
