"Padmasri" Sri Muthiah Sthapathi, the proposed architect for the temple, has
designed over 25 temples in the United States including Sri Ganesh temple - New York,
Sri Siva Vishnu temple ; Livermore, Sri Venkateswara temple – Chicago, Sri Lakshmi temple ; Boston,
Sri Murugan temple; Washington amongst several others.A 60-feet tall Lord Anjaneya carved out
of a single 150-tonne stone near Pondicherry, India, a 60-feet tall Lord Krishna in Birla Museum
at Calcutta, India, and a 60-feet tall Adhi Sankara in Sankara Mutt, Kanchipuram, India are samples
of his workmanship
Recipient of the prestigious Padmasri award from the Government of India, Sri Muthiah Sthapathi
also holds the honor of being the Asthana (Official) architect of the Kanchi Sankara Mutt.
